Nighttime Acid Reflux Post A Huge Problem

Deborah Kronenberg is one of the 15 percent of Americans who suffer from nighttime heartburn. The only way that she can sleep every night is to elevate her head of her bed with bricks so that her acid reflux symptoms would not occur during the night.

She started having problems with gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), or heartburn acid reflux just two years ago.

Kronenberg was told that her problems weren't related to controlling stomach acid after all; rather, the sphincter on her lower esophagus wasn't working properly.

She suffered from chronic heartburn complaints such as acid taste in throat or mouth, chest pain.

A survey conducted by the American College of Gastroenterology, it said that almost half of those with acid reflux at night complained about sleep disturbances due to heartburn symptoms.

This is a serious matter and it is not taken light. Please read the full article from CNN News.
